*Well, here it is 2007 already and Salty Dog is now ready to go again within 48 hours with provisioning.

Salty Dog is now in its best condition ever. All top sides have been reconditioned and in Bristol  condition. The interior has been \0pgraded. Rigging is renewed. One problem- a minor still in Grade 10. Thats ok. but I have had toi adjust to driving the Freeway to school.

Well here it is, 2008 already and Salty Dog continues to lay at Richmond California. Now with housing prices becoming very affordable, there is a movement by certain family members to seek a land based existance. Mutiny, but given the many good colleges and Universities here, perhaps not a bad idea.

Salty Dog was hauled again in August for bottom painting and the usual maintenace items. A new survey indicates a near bristol vessel. So, for a thirty eight year old vessel, she is holding up well. I suspect the dryer climate in California has been very good.

Cetol ( Sikens)has come out with a new product- Cetol Teak- a clear finish that is very good and promises much less maintenance than the traditional varnish and without losing the wood grain.
